The dominant cycling route, stretching across the Tekov region from north to south, is the Pohronská Magistrála (red route 010). Its journey begins in the town of Tlmače and ends in Štúrovo, connecting to Eurovelo 6. It winds through the picturesque nooks and the floodplain of the Hron all the way to the historic town of Želiezovce, then passes through villages of southern Slovakia to Štúrovo.

However, it is not the only cycling magistrale in the Tekov Region. In the northeastern corner, the Dr. Téry Cycling Magistrale (red route 052) carves out its own route, connecting Dudince and its surroundings with the Štiavnica Mountains. It passes through the villages of the Bátovská basin – Žemberovce, Bátovce and Jabloňovce – and ends in Banská Štiavnica.
