Feel like wandering through the bush and experiencing a safari? You don’t need to go to the African savannah at all. We have exotic animals in Tekov too. All you need to do is visit Panthera Park in Turá …

The novelty that Panthera Park clearly is has already won the hearts of the youngest … At the time of opening you would find the largest number of feline predators in one place in Central Europe. After all, the lion was the first animal the current owners began to look after a few years ago.

Over time, more animals arrived. For various reasons the original owners could not provide them with proper care. In Panthera Park they found not only a new home, but also professional animal care.
It all reportedly began with a lion … A family dream of creating a park of exotic animals has over time turned into an exceptional tourist attraction. Children enjoy it the most. The chance not only to see exotic animals but also to feed or pet some of them is not something you get every day.

Among the feline predators you can admire lions, tigers, jaguars, leopards, the Bengal cat and the lynx. If you like canine predators, don’t miss the Canadian wolf. In the spacious enclosures you will be captivated by zebras, horses, camels, but also llamas, ponies and ostriches.

A multitude of diverse small animals and colourful exotic as well as water birds will delight the eye not only of young visitors. Don’t miss watching the meerkats – they will cheer up your day. Children will be delighted by the popular capybaras, as well as rabbits and hamsters with little houses for the animals.

Bouncy castles and a playground with play elements will certainly provide entertainment – all as a bonus included in the ticket price. Occasional entertaining and educational programmes run by trained animators are intended for young visitors.

Educational activities are available by arrangement, especially for children in pre-school facilities and in the first stage of primary schools. Two snack bars are available on the premises – an ice-cream one together with sweet treats such as wafers, waffles or pancakes, and another serving fast food.

The spacious grounds with clearly marked enclosures, cages and a newly planted avenue of trees can easily accommodate larger numbers of visitors.

You can sit on massive wooden benches in the shade of trees and watch the simple life of the animals. Time passes here unnoticeably fast and offers a pleasant day for the whole family…
