A slice of the exotic animal world, Slovak-style – a small safari – can be found in village of Turá, just a stone’s throw from Tekovský Hrádok. Although it’s been around for only a short time, it has already won the hearts of children especially. They feel closest to animals here and can get to know them up close. By the way, did you know that this is the single site with the largest number of big cats in Central Europe?

Take a trip with your kids to the Slovak safari, where you’ll find animals from all over the world. Most of them are rescued animals. Children especially love the chance to see them up close and offer a carrot or a little snack to the smaller animals. Various fun and educational programs are also prepared for the youngest visitors, whether by arrangement for schools or on weekends for the general public.

Recently, the animal company has been joined by a prehistoric creature too – an animatronic T-Rex, which is drawing great interest from the youngest visitors.
Stop by and get to know the animal kingdom up close …
